Western Culinary Training

BANGKOK, THAILAND, 4 October 2018:  Thai Chef School, located in Bangkok, recently announced the creation of its latest professional chef training course which is a complete introduction to Western cuisines.  The course offers students the opportunity to learn the basics of a number of Western cuisines with a particular emphasis in French, Italian, Spanish, and American cuisines.  Students prepare over 60+ different dishes during the course and learn the basics of classical French sauces and stocks.

The intensive seven-week course also covers basic kitchen skills and knowledge that are required to work in any professional restaurant kitchen including sanitation, food safety, and nutrition among other pertinent topics.  Students who successfully finish the course are qualified to work in entry level to mid-level positions in kitchens that feature almost any type of Western cuisine.

Thai Chef School caters to both Thai and international students that come from around the world to learn the basics of being a professional chef.  The school is unique among licensed professional cooking schools in Thailand because its courses are taught exclusively in English.  And accreditation by the Ministry of Education ensures that the school’s curriculum adheres to the high standards that are required.

All of the school’s courses offer internship programs that provide practical experience for graduates at hotel or resort restaurants in Thailand and other countries in the region.  Job placement assistance is also available for students seeking employment in Thailand, southeast Asia, and on international cruise ships.
